I got this for my 8 year old son, and I also got the protection plan because he'd never used a drone before and I expected accidents to happen. It has been flown into the frozen ground countless times, it has been flown into people countless times, it has been flown into trees countless times, and it was accidentally fully submerged in water and aside from the battery that was in it being fried it fired right back up. It comes with replacement blades, however despite the obvious abuses it has endured while my son has been learning how to fly it, we haven't needed to replace the blades. I absolutely recommend this for first time drone users due to it's durability alone. Would definitely buy again.
